The Start of New Things

As we start a new month, we begin something new on the Appetizer. And that is to focus on the great musical talent found here in Abilene. For the next few months, and maybe longer, we'll hear the sounds of local artists, many of whom are not signed by national record companies, but deserve radio play all the same. We'll hear the folk flavor of Jamison Priest, Steve Miller, the jazz sounds of Vincent Allen Dawson, good ol' rock from Clad in Scarlet and Homer Hiccolm & the Rocket Boys, and much more. Stay tuned. Also, we'll present some in-studio interviews and performances from these great groups. Listen for more information.
