Well, if you've been listening to the Appetizer these past few weeks, you've heard what we're doing to raise support for the local music scene. Local artists that have already been featured on the show include the Steve Miller band, Vincent Allen Dawson, Homer Hiccolm and the Rocket Boys. Starting this weekend, we're going a step further and letting you meet the band. This weekend, local folk sensation Jamison Priest will be featured in an in-studio interview including live performances of 2 of their original songs. You won't find local radio coverage or support anywhere else in Abilene. Don't miss this weekend's show! It is guaranteed to be great. We're also featuring great folk music this week from Putumayo's latest release "American Folk," music from "Acoustic Rainbow Vol. 13" and a jazz tune from Lizz Wright.
