The Appetizer Reviews Strunz & Farah

Two of the greatest Spanish/Classical guitarists in the world are Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah. These two legends have been recording albums together for years and are back yet again with a stellar cd release entitled "Zona Torrida." Accompanied by an ensemble of other legendary musicians like Ramon Yslas (percussion), Charlie Bisharat (violin), Cameron Stone (cello) and others, this album features 9 brilliant world insturment tunes. Strunz and Farah don't keep it simple. Instead they show off their incredible guitar mastery on every track. Also, if you enjoy percussion or world music this is a must have. Key tracks include the opener "De Luna," "Milieu de l'Ete," the title track "Zona Torrida," and "Secret Village." And the album provides other treats like Middle Eastern flavor on Kereshmeh. Four Forks! Check it out. Visit their website for more information and song samples- http://www.strunzandfarah.com/
