It's that time of year again, when we spend a little time showcasing the tribute artform known as cover songs. This week, we kick off our 4 hour series keying in on rock classics in a new way.
We'll cover tracks from Guns 'N Roses, Lynrd Skynyrd, Ozzy Osbourne, Bruce Springsteen and more with new interpretations in styles like folk, jazz, fusion, lounge, bluegrass and more.
Our feature this week will be a look at the influence of guitar icon Jimi Hendrix, and the permanent impression he made on the world of rock, blues, psychedelic music and jazz styles. We have Hendrix covers from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer, The Corrs and more to showcase the phenomenal musicianship of this guitar hero.
